Mecca & Grosvenor Casinos partner with Jumio to streamline the customer verification process

London, UK – Feb. 4, 2014 – Jumio, Inc., the fast growing online and mobile credentials management company, today announced that The Rank Group Plc, owner of leading entertainment brands Mecca and Grosvenor Casinos, has signed a deal to use Jumio’s Netverify® solution.

The Rank Group Plc is a leading European gaming and betting business, based in the UK and listed on the London Stock Exchange. Mecca is one of the largest bingo operators with a presence in club, online and on mobile. MeccaBingo.com is one of the UK’s most popular community gaming websites offering popular games like bingo, poker and slot games. Grosvenor Casinos is the UK’s largest casino brand with nearly 60 casinos across the UK as well as their online operation, GrosvenorCasinos.com.

Jumio’s Netverify® will be integrated into the Mecca and Grosvenor Casinos sites so that players can be quickly verified without having to email or fax copies of their ID documents. The Netverify® solution will enable Mecca and Grosvenor customers to scan their passport or driving licence via their device camera and Netverify® will then authenticate the document against a range of security features.
