Better Together

Together, Jumio and Microsoft allow enterprises to verify a customer’s identity before allowing account registration or access on Microsoft Azure Active Directory.

Remote Onboarding and eKYC Simplified

Azure Active Directory B2C (Azure AD B2C) is an identity management service that enables custom control of how your customers sign up, sign in, and manage their profiles when using your iOS, Android, .NET, single-page (SPA), and other applications. Azure Active Directory B2C is capable of supporting millions of users and billions of authentications per day.

Using Azure AD B2C, more and more application organizations are also managing end-user identities in the cloud. Depending on the application type, the users are also assigned appropriate access privileges in the Azure AD B2C. However, before onboarding users and assigning privileges, organizations need to make sure that they are who they claim to be.

With the integration of Jumio Identity Verification, these organizations can add extra assurance that remote users are who they say they are before they can create an Azure AD account. By seamlessly integrating with the Azure AD onboarding process, Jumio helps organizations safeguard their platforms and meet Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance mandates while streamlining the experience for their users.

How it Works

Enterprises using Azure AD can incorporate Jumio’s solutions right into their existing workflow to streamline the capture of identity documentation and perform identity verification checks before the user registers for an account. Organizations can quickly build workflows to capture pictures of government-issued IDs and corroborating selfies to more definitively establish the digital identities of their end users.

Step 1

A user wants to register for a new Azure AD account online and begins the KYC process from the Azure AD interface.

Step 2

The built-in Jumio interface prompts them to upload a valid ID, which Jumio verifies in real time.

Step 3

Jumio runs liveness detection on the user to ensure they are physically present and are not using spoofing techniques, and it verifies that this is the same person as on the ID.

Step 4

Within seconds, the user is verified and is taken to the registration screen where they create their Azure AD account.
