Face Match technology checks for liveness by detecting small movements, ensuring that a static image isn’t being used, and then compares the customer’s face with the photo on their ID to produce a likelihood-of-match score. Validation and Face Matching happens on average in under 90 seconds, and provides you with the security you need to offer high-risk, mobile based transactions; while giving your users the anytime, anywhere, any transaction freedom they want.

How it Works
Integrated within your app, customers tap the “scan now” button to activate their smartphone camera and securely scan an image of the front and/or back of their document to complete a registration or application process in seconds.

Our template matching technology automatically detects ID edges, rotates, and accurately crops it in the frame. For high-risk transaction, you can enable Face Match and liveness detection, for improved confidence that the user submitting the document is who they say they are. Validation happens near real-time in the background and the end user can get on with their transaction.
Your customers enjoy the security of having no personal data from the scan stored on their mobile device. Once the document has been scanned and validated you and your customers receive feedback if the scanned document has been accepted for submission.
Easily access your customers’ records via the Client Portal
Jumio’s proprietary technology scans, validates and extracts the customer data and passes it to you in the format specified. All customers ID data is made available to you in your Client Portal.
