Last week Jumio won a much-coveted METaward at the MRC conference in Las Vegas. In front of a full house, Jumio fought off tough competition from ReD and Iovation.
Our CSO, Mike Orlando, delivered a 5 minute presentation to a group of approx. 1000 attendees, who after seeing the three presentations text-voted for the winner in a real time vote.
Mike showed a sample mobile shopping app that combined Fastfill, Netswipe and PORT to buy a watch with a quick, slick customer experience. After purchasing the watch with a “keystroke-free” transaction he selected the “remember me” option. Then Mike opened a demo app of the Aria Hotel (where the event was taking place) to purchase tickets for Cirque du Soleil. He checked out as a guest and all his payment and relevant personal data appeared without further scanning or key entry via our PORT network. Quick, frictionless payment combined with fraud prevention tools. Exactly what merchants and consumers want.
