Last night Jumio was honoured to win the Anti-Fraud/Security category at the prestigious FinTech Innovation Awards ceremony where the brightest and best of financial services technology were recognised.
Against stiff competition from established market players in the identity and payments solutions space, Jumio was chosen as the winner in the Anti-Fraud/Security Initiative category at the award ceremony at The Brewery in the heart of the City of London.
Jumio’s ID verification solution Netverify® has made a real impact on how financial services providers verify their customers and meet KYC requirements. Netverify helps financial services firms verify customer identity while improving remote account opening completion rates.
The award panel comprised of leading industry executives including Dan Cobley, CEO of Brightbridge Ventures, Myles Stephenson, MD of WEX Europe, and Andrew Vorster, a leading Technology Foresight Consultant, who evaluated the shortlisted companies on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as technology innovation, intellectual property and market understanding. Jumio’s Netverify® is the easiest way for a business to validate a customer’s identity in real time, allowing consumers from over 120 countries to scan their ID, driver license or passport to verify their identity for account registrations or high risk transactions, to meet KYC requirements.
Winning this award is testimony to our work and dedication to the industry, but mostly it is an accolade to our hard working staff who strive each day to provide consumers with more intuitive online experiences whilst helping improve KYC compliance. It is our ethos to deliver our promise of creating a great customer experience whilst offering robust identity verification – ultimately, our technology is changing the way the digital world verifies customers. We know that our proposition is of real benefit to the financial services industry and winning this award recognises our technology as a real game changer.
