Today as Jumio is supporting England in its football game against Wales, we are also celebrating the International Day of Family Remittances, joining IAMTN (International Association of Money Transfer Networks) and a wide range of money transfer companies in calling upon a wider endorsement of the observance of this day.
Celebrated for the first time by IFAD (The International Fund for Agricultural Development) in 2015, the International Day of Family Remittances is further observed today by institutions, organizations and individuals from the public and private sectors. The aim to further promote development in the remittances sector worldwide and maximize the impact of these resources for the benefit of individual families and the communities where they live.
Here at Jumio we have been working in collaboration with money transfer clients to help them deliver innovative products that meet the needs of people transferring remittances worldwide.
Today our customers are using Jumio’s Netverify™ in order to help their customers transfer remittances to their families and communities. Netverify, our real-time ID verification technology, helps eliminate the friction and hassle of manually uploading identity documents. As a result, their customers can perform faster and more secure money transfer transactions.
