NCC Innovates ID Verification for National Police Checks

Jumio’s Netverify enables company to achieve record results and heighten customer experience

PALO ALTO, CA – April 20, 2016 – Jumio, the largest online and mobile ID verification company, today launched a comprehensive customer case study highlighting how National Crime Check, a CrimTrac accredited national criminal history check provider, uses Jumio’s Netverify® to successfully change the way individuals and business comply with National Police Checks requirements in Australia.

National Crime Check sought to reduce administrative burdens and manual processes for both individuals and businesses who must meet national police check requirements for a variety of applications including employment, childcare, volunteer services, and licensing or registration requirements.

With a desire to apply best of breed technology, National Crime Check undertook an exhaustive process of researching ID verification solutions. The company set out to find a solution that would provide an excellent customer experience, while enabling an automated process that was accessible online 100% of the time. National Crime Check selected Jumio’s Netverify with Face Match.

Netverify provides ID document scanning and authentication technology that enables a person to scan their identification documents directly from any online or mobile device. For National Crime Check, the ability to provide end users with the flexibility to use multiple platforms–PC, tablet, or mobile smartphone–was a big plus.

“Our customer see using their mobile phone or tablet to verify their ID as a really cool process,” said founder Martin Lazarevic. “With Jumio, our users move from a manual process to a highly automated 100% online process and it all points back to leveraging innovation and technology for a great customer experience.”

“National Crime Check is a clear disruptor in the industry, leading the way with advanced technologies including Netverify,” said Robert Prigge, CRO, at Jumio. “We are pleased to be part of providing their users a fast, easy and secure way to comply with police check requirements.”
