Jumio announced today that RentPaidOnline, a service of EFX Financial Services, has selected Jumio’s Netswipe to make mobile rent payments easier than ever for tenants. By integrating Jumio’s in-app credit card scanning technology into its current online payment platform, RentPaidOnline now offers residents a faster, more secure way to pay rent to property managers.

Jumio’s Netswipe offers consumers a first-of-its-kind option to pay rent on their mobile phones, through a secure technology that scans and validates credit card data without storing any sensitive personal information on phones. The Netswipe credit card validation is as an integral part of the fraud prevention processes. Tenants are able to pay rent in approximately 5 seconds, as compared with nearly a minute for manual entry, and the added convenience and security helps reduce fraudulent payments and speed rental collections for property managers.
