By inte­grating Jumio’s in-app credit card scan­ning tech­nology into its cur­rent online pay­ment plat­form, Rent­PaidOn­line now offers res­i­dents a faster, more secure way to pay rent to prop­erty managers.

Jumio’s Netswipe offers con­sumers a first-of-its-kind option to pay rent on their mobile phones, through a secure tech­nology that scans and val­i­dates credit card data without storing any sen­si­tive per­sonal infor­ma­tion on phones. The Netswipe credit card val­i­da­tion is as an inte­gral part of the fraud pre­ven­tion processes. Ten­ants are able to pay rent in approx­i­mately 5 sec­onds, as com­pared with nearly a minute for manual entry, and the added con­ve­nience and secu­rity helps reduce fraud­u­lent pay­ments and speed rental col­lec­tions for prop­erty managers.
